Keep Moving

No matter what you are faced with, no matter the challenges, by all means let nothing deter you. Just keep moving.  Keep working at achieving your dreams and aspirations. Attempt to make some form of progress towards your goal everyday. Yes, every day. Like Mark Twain said, continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection. The key is not to remain in one spot but to consistently and continuously pursue your goals, no matter how slow your progress may seem to be. Most of us could do with more doses of persistence which has been defined as "firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition". I have observed that most of us are too quick at 'throwing in the towel'. We give up too easily when faced with difficulties or challenges. However, men and women who have succeeded in their chosen endeavors and even in their personal lives will tell us that there is no situation that will not change for the better if sufficient pressur...

Rise above Anxiety

Why on earth do I find it so difficult most times not to be anxious, especially over things I have no control over? Why is the temptation to become anxious so difficult to avoid? Of course, I know what I suffer when I allow myself become anxious but why don't I seem to be able to help myself and avoid the trap? Even though I have read and know that worry and anxiety is a sign of doubt and lack of faith in God, why do I still worry and become anxious? I guess I need to trust God more and depend on His faithfulness, because He says He will never leave me nor forsake me. Help me Lord to always remember that. This is to encourage anyone else who is out there struggling with the habit of worry and anxiety (yes, habits), remember that you can't help yourself and that you have someone who cares for you more than you can ever imagine. His thoughts towards you continually are thoughts of good and not of evil, to give you an expected then. So lets learn to wholly depend on Him.
